Women’s Ministries

The GBC ministry to women is a discipleship ministry designed to support and minister to the needs of women in our congregation. It is our goal to create a climate where acceptance does not have to be achieved but is automatically granted. All women are welcome and encouraged to participate in our activities.

We would like to express our gratitude to the many women of our congregation who volunteer their time by serving to make this ministry a success. If you would like to get involved in service or leadership for any of our ministries or activities, please contact any member of the Women’s Ministries Committee: Linda Pierce, Dee Abrams, Jenn Murray, Lyn Ransil, Paula Rixham, Christy Rohrer, Jen Sheriff, Jeanne Starr

Spiritual Enrichment

Planned and designed to enrich each woman’s fellowship with the Lord and with each other. These opportunities assist each woman to:

  • Deepen her relationship with God
  • Build relationships with other women
  • Evaluate and set priorities in light of God’s Word
  • Develop a lifestyle of service to God and others

Consider getting involved in one of these enrichment activities:

  • Morning and evening Bible Studies
  • Annual weekend retreat
  • Apples of Gold – This program is based on the principles taught in Titus 2:3-5. Older Christian women nurture younger women in the Word of God. The program is also to model the practical application of: cooking, relational skills, homemaking skills and hospitality. To learn more, visit chapelapples.blogspot.com which is updated weekly!
