Classroom locations and ages for our youngest children:

Room 133 – Nursery: Birth up to 2 years old

Room 135 – Sprouts: 2-year-olds

Room 136 – Seedlings: 3-year-olds

Room 137 – Little Buds: 4-year-olds (and 5-year-olds who have not yet started Kindergarten)

All four of the above classes will be offered during both service times, and children can be signed-in and dropped-off at any time.

Parents should visit the check-in desk/computers located by the main bathrooms to procure name tags/security stickers for their children before taking them to their classrooms. When it is time to leave, parents can collect their children directly from the classroom at which they dropped their child off. Parents should be sure to have with them the sticker which corresponds to the names/numbers on their child’s name tag when coming to pick up a child.

Nursery and Preschool children may be dropped off for two consecutive services without the parents coming to attend to them between services.

When the parents/guardians of elementary children choose to attend a worship service (either at 9:00 or 10:30), elementary-aged children should initially remain with their families. At the conclusion of the singing portion of worship time, children will be dismissed to classes designed for elementary-aged children. From the 9:00 service children will be dismissed to Kid Konnection, and from the 10:30 service to Kidz Church. During both services, adult teachers will collect the children from the service and escort them to their class areas. Parents should visit the check-in desk/computers located by the main bathrooms to procure name tags/security stickers for their children before the worship service begins, because children will need to have a name tag in order to attend class.

At GBC, we strongly encourage families to participate in worship together, and as such we have designed our children’s programs to allow families to spend the beginning of service time together in praise and worship. However, should parents choose to spend the whole morning at GBC in order to serve in ministry or attend an Adult Bible Class, we have a plan in place so that elementary children will always have somewhere to be. In this situation, children can be signed in to the Early Drop-Off room, where they will participate in a children’s worship time. They will then join the other children for their main class when children are dismissed from the main worship service. In this way, elementary children who spend the whole morning at GBC will experience worship with their families, a time of children’s worship, and two separate elementary-aged classes.

Room 141/142: Kindergarten – 1st Grades

Room 140: 2nd – 5th Grades
